Any opportunity Mr. Jason gets to go to the basement...he heads to the layout. The problem is, he's always breaking something, moves trains from one place to another, looses something my hubby needs, etc. So dear husband decided to put up a gate so when he's not home, Mr. Jason has no access to the train area. But lo and behold, he still gets in there!
"Oh no, I've been caught red handed!"
The "little mouse", has been sneaking in through another side, mind you, he has to go through a stack of paint cans, a small hamper, a portable plastic rolling cart, and through a space that's about 6 inches wide
But the look on his face says it all!
Since the benchwork where the tracks are is so high, that's no deterrent
He'll move this stool all around the layout!
Here are a few more pictures of our "mouse" in action
And a few more shots of the layout
At least he is enjoying himself, that's all that really matters!
Have a great day.
Huggies,
Rosa

That is sooo sweet! Love the bed head!!! My husband loves trains too. We have boxes with all the parts, etc., but no place to put one up. Guess we'll just have to find a bigger house!! HA! By the way, thanks for the blog tip, it worked!!! (I felt a duh moment right after I fixed it!)
XOXO

what a priceless expression!my boys were never into trains too much, they loved hot wheels. however, all the little boys in my preschool class absolutely love them. we get the big train set out quite frequently.

I love seeing model trains. My mother's best friend's husband is really into them and they travel all around to shows/conventions. She shops. He does trains. I think it is a great hobby that one can follow over a lifetime, starting as young as wee Jason. You can see the seed has already been planted! By the way he is a handsome little devil, isn't he?
aww your little mouse is sooo CUTE!!! haha that is the sweetest thing him making it through all that to get to his daddys train set!! I missed talking to you yesterday! I have to work tonight but I am off tomorrow!YIPPIE!!! well off to get some rest and sleep! HUGS!

Awww. He's so cute! I've always wished that my sons would have taken an interest in trains. I have a Marklin train set just sitting in boxes in the garage. I can understand the need to sneak in there too!
hehehe.. he is cute! btw can I add 2 more house mouse at your basement? hehehehe.. my 2 sons love train too.. we have 2 sets of thomas & friends and once they assemble the sets, we don't have dinning table to use!.. lol
His look is priceless. You can't keep a boy away from planes, trains or automobiles. They will always find a way to play with them. No matter their age. &why would you want to when they are this happy doing it.
Now that is exactly the kind of mouse I'd love to have around my house! I'd trap him and smother him with hugs and kisses! So cute!!!
Please stop by my blog for a little surprise!!!

Rosa, tu hijo es muy feliz en ese lugar, mientras no tenga un accidente, dejenlo que se divierta.
