The Hurrier I Go, The Behinder I Get

The title of this post is from a Peanuts card I bought when I was in Jr. High, I always remember it because I find myself doing too much at once, and if I try to make myself go faster, many times I have to start all over again!. There's so much on my plate right now, that's really overwhelming. However, as frazzled as I may become, I just say to myself, take things one at a time.

So I'm running behind saying thanks publicly to Miss Sandy. I won her 100th post giveaway a few weeks back. And let me tell you, everything she sent, was all a treasure!

She placed everything inside a beautiful box:

Here are my fabulous goodies, I felt and I am, so lucky to have won all of these!

As soon as I can I'll be using these to create all sorts of things, so THANK YOU, Miss Sandy!

On a sad note, Sandy's grandmother, Lucille, just passed away on May 5th. Please stop by her blog to offer your sympathy, she'll appreciate it!

And for the Enchanted Swap, hosted by Sarah, these are the beautiful items I received from Jillian, thank you so much. EVERYTHING is amazing, I love all of it!!

Gorgeous treat cone with one of my favorite candies:

She sent beautifully wrapped chocolates for my kids:

I also received her gorgeous rose paper, and pretty ribbons:

All accompanied by a lovely handwritten note:

You're a fantastic swap partner Jillian, thanks again!

This week is teacher appreciation, today's theme was a handwritten note, letter or card for the teachers. I sent this Thank You banner to Jeremy's teacher:

And thank you to all the wonderful teachers out there!

I was tagged by Irma, to list some quirky things, or habits of mine. I haven't forgotten about it Irma, I'll write about them in my next post. Thanks for tagging me!

Well, now it's time to get off the computer and work on things!

Have a great Thursday my friends,

Hugs and kisses,

Rosa

Wow! You are a lucky girl. Look at all of the beautiful things you've recived. I guess this means you've been sending out beautiful things too. The banner for the teacher is such a good idea.

Oh my goodness! I'm glad you noticed. that drove me crazy. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get comments.I'm bummed that I may have missed out on meeting some new people b/c it was turned off

wow, looks like you got some wonderful goodies!! I love your crown, and the vintage paper crafting book looks very interesting. I feel like sometimes I run around like a chicken with it's head cut off. We all just need to take time to "smell the roses" and not be so rushed! It is not as easy as it sounds though!!
