On Our Summer To Do List: Celebrate The 4th of July
I love the fourth of July, I really do. But once it rolls around I get the impression that the Summer is over!. The main reason is because if you go to the stores, the back to school items start being displayed; Summer items go on sale to make room for the Fall season, and so on. It's occurred to me that maybe, I should just stay away from stores!.
This year our 4th of July celebration were kept very low key. And for a change it was a rainy, cooler than normal day.We wanted to finish the day by watching the fireworks at a adjacent town, but when we were driving there we found out they had been postponed
till Sunday, bummer!.
Towards the latter part of the afternoon, the rain stopped, so at least we were able to have some sparkler fun.
