PICKING APPLES

We took our yearly ride to Warwick, NY, to pick our own apples. It's one of our Fall traditions; we look forward to it once September rolls around. We go to Masker Orchards, and drive up as high as we can, to take in the beautiful views!.The day began with overcast skies, and a bit on the cool side, but the sun starting shining and it warmed up quite nicely.

We also buy apple pies to keep them frozen until Thanksgiving. And I love having their apple pie a la mode!
Another thing we do there, is take a picture of the kids at the pumpkin patch.

We didn't get our pumpkins here, I'll post about our trip to a different pumpkin patch.
Until next time!

BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL PARTY/ FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

No matter how hard I try, I can't catch up!. When I was in my teens, I came across a quote from Garfield (the cat):"The hurrier I go, the behinder I get". Anyway, even though Summer is but a memory now, and the kids have been back to school for weeks, here are the pictures, enjoy!. I spent many days browsing the internet and Pinterest, gathering ideas for our Back-To-School party. A carnival theme is one of my favorites!

Made this "Fish in the bag" prize with this tutorial

We also had snow cones, the whole party was  a blast!
