OUR SUMMER LIST

Oh how I love Summer, it's one of my favorite seasons. I love the idea of creating a wish list of things to do during Summer. I took some colored chalk, and created a list on our chalkboard wall for our family to look at. It's not engraved in stone, so we can add things as we wish. I love how it turned out!.

Take care,

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

And... in a blink of an eye the kids are done with another school year! (School ended on Friday 6.21)

Walking to school on the last day

Last day tradition: Doing the HOKEY POKEY on the front lawn

Gift for the teacher

Treats for classmates

Having fun with shaving cream, water balloons, and swimming in the pool. Not a bad way to end the school year!

We ate hot dogs, hamburgers, and finished off with ice cream cone cupcakes made by our neighbor, Mona.
We also had fruit, and made sundaes.
The kids were exhausted!

Time to wake up late, relax, go out, and do all the fun things that Summer brings!.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, DAD!

My husband is a very amazing Dad. We're so lucky and blessed to have him in our lives!. A lot of times I tell him he's just like a kid. So, the other day while I was at Barnes and Noble, I spotted this book, I had to buy it for him. It's perfect!

We also gave him a photo holder from Target. I found three printables and tada... it turned out so cute.

The two chalkboard printables are from Second chance to dream, and the third one is from
The 36th Avenue

For a couple of our neighbors we bought 2 liter soda bottles and added these adorable tie printables from Bargain Shopper Mom

I made him blueberry pancakes with bacon and strawberry slices for breakfast. It was so good.

Happy Father's Day!

U-PICK-'EM: Strawberries

This is our first time doing this, and it was a nice family activity. I highly recommend it.At this farm (Alstede Farms), you can either walk to the  strawberry fields close to the entrance, or you can take a hayride to another area. We chose the latter, it made it seem like a greater adventure. The kids liked it!.

We picked as many as we thought we can eat, and I guess we'll share some. They are " BERRY SWEET!".
